After a long winter we have been trying to enjoy this nice warm weather. The kids are getting big cailyn still uses her own language but she has quite the imagination. Jarrod is starting to get into everything and his favorite game is copying everything cailyn does. He loves to follow her around between the two of them they are always into something or emptying my pantry or dumping rice on the floor. They do have some good moments making up songs together and sharing toys and food. Of course as with siblings they are constantly fighting. Cailyn screams when jarrod gets close to her and he gets upset every time she steals a toy from him. Its a crazy life but i wouldn't trade it for anything.

Jarrod and cailyn are growing up so fast. Jarrod is walking everywhere and of course he loves to fight with cailyn. They love to wrestle and chase each other and drive each other crazy. Well cailyn still doesnt talk much other than her gibberish and jarrod is following in the same idea, but its fun to listen to her tell stories and sing to her babies and her bear. Here are a few pictures of our life over the last few months. the picture are going from most recent to oldest but i didnt want to fix them...

We've been very busy keeping up with the kids and life so here are some pictures i've taken along the way.

Both kids are doing really good, Jarrod is taking steps he's so close to walking it makes me sad i wish he would stay my baby forever. Cailyn is just getting big and so smart she loves to chase the dogs and play with jarrod. Our days are never boring!

we went to dinner and kurt ordered the seafood platter and they gave him a full squid.. although the picture looks like a spider.

My cousin got married in St george so we took the kids down for the wedding, it was beautiful i wished we could have stayed at the wedding longer, but the kids were tired cranky and hungry so we only made it to the ceremony.

My sisters birthday is in october and her husband decided to throw a surprise party for her. It was a fun party and she was really surprised.

We have had a fun summer, i hate to see it end but i'm sick of the heat so its ok. I cant believe how fast the kids grow up.. Cailyn is such a good big sister and she loves to play with and help jarrod (when noone is watching). She always shares her food and when he cries she brings him a bottle. She has started to want to help clean... well clean out the drawers in the kitchen. Jarrod is getting too big, we just took him in for his 9 month apt and he weighs 19.12 lbs (which is only 4 lbs less than cailyn) hes 27 inches tall (cailyn is 33), i'm pretty sure hes going to out grow her soon. He is trying so hard to walk so he can chase cailyn through the house, he's almost there maybe a couple weeks. Jarrod is saying mama, which i still cant get cailyn to say. Cailyn talks but its mostly just her usual jibberish.

the other day we decided to take cailyn to the dinosaur park since she loves dinosaurs, every time she sees one she *roars* she had so much fun looking at the dinosaurs but she wouldnt get to close to them.

Since Ali and Marley ruined her swimming pool we've been using jarrod bath tub as a splash pool on the deck for cailyn. the other day when we tried to feed her lunch she decided to sit down in the duck and get comfy before eating.

Marley loves jarrod, he just sits there and let jarrod pet him. which was surprising at first since marley is not a fan of cailyn who insists on chasing him up and down the hall and hitting him with her broom.

Since mat has moved out we decided to turn the basement into a playroom/office. This kitchen set was handed down from her cousins cayden and cristian. Cailyn loves this everyday she plays with it and cooks all sorts of random things.

We decided to paint the small room (playroom) since the color was kinda dark and needed and uplift. Cailyn of course being her helpful self wanted to help paint, she was very proud of herself and was covered in paint by the end.

Jarrod loves to walk, however he still isnt balanced enough to do it himself so cailyn wanted to help him however shes not quite strong enough to hold him herself so dad had to step in and help.

Jarrod takes after the family tradition of singing.. cailyn however loves the drums and did much better than me on rockband.

This was an adventure in itself. we decided to go play in the fountains at the gateway since cailyn loves water so much. she was having fun until the water splashed and hit her in the face. then she was done and wanted to leave.

We got this slide for cailyn a while ago but jarrod loves it. of course he hasnt figured out how to climb the stairs yet so he just tries to climb up the slide.

Cailyns first baseball game was the bees game. This was interesting, she only sat in her seat for about 20 minutes, we walked around the park about 15 times. It was a fun night though!

We went to bear lake with my parents in july. This was a really fun weekend, my sister and her husband and step son came up to play in the water one day. cailyn had so much fun splashing in the water and being pulled on the tube. Marley and ali had to be within 15 ft of the kids while they were in the water even though we have the only two dogs in the world who hate the water.

This was on the 4th of july. I made this yummy yummy icecream cake, kurt added the jameson to the picture.

So after a very interesting day i decided that i really need to start writing more things down.. Cailyn is such a interesting child. she is so full of life and loves to learn and try new things. It just amazes me the things she learns and tries. She has made the last two years so fun and challenging. Here are a few stories that i remember.

Our first adventure was when she was 2 months old Cailyn and I flew to Louisiana to visit my best friend. I had at this time never traveled with an infant so i was really nervous. It seemed that every time we would take off she would wait until after take off to start screaming and go poop. Oddly enough the best passenger on all 4 of my flights was a teenage boy, he was so sweet and nice and never complained. He even talked to her and offered to move over a seat so i could have the middle one to lay cailyn down. However all the other passengers i sat by just gave me nasty looks and didnt say anything...

This is kinda sad but we think its funny. Cailyn has never liked her aunt nov, for some reason whenever she tries to hold her or give her something cailyn freaks. I honestly think she does it just to bug her. on the same line, to this day cailyn still refuses to call me mom. She only says Dada.

A couple weeks before she turned one Cailyn turned to run down the hall and tripped and fell into the wall. I had to take her up to wee care and she had to have 3 stitches above her eye. She still has a scar. honestly i'm very surprised she hasnt had to have more stitches or had a broken bone.

A few of her regular activities include; climbing onto the table, climbing up the couch sitting on the window sill and jumping off, standing at the top of stairs and falling (expecting someone to catch her), climbing onto our bed and jumping up and down then falling.. she has fallen off our bed a few times, running down the hall and turning to fast (into a wall), running and hitting the kitchen floor and sliding across it, falling in the bathtub trying walk around. Its safe to say she is accident prone.

Kurt and i decided it would be fun to buy Cailyn a slide. Well she loves this slide her and almost every toy she owns has been down the slide a few times. Her latest adventure is to either sit at the top backwards and slide down or stand at the top and just jump. She finds it hilarious me not so much.

Our dogs used to sleep in kennels, well cailyn decided that alis kennel was her second bed, many times i would walk into the room and her and ali would be sleeping together in the kennel, we have since taken the dogs out of the kennels but ali isnt allowed to sleep with cailyn.. yet.

We took cailyn to Oregon last year on a road trip. Surprisingly she did really good in the truck on the drive. we took her to the beach one day and the minute we let her out of the stroller on the and she took off on a dead run for the ocean. It was so cold outside we spent the whole time trying to keep her warm.

Restaurants is a whole other story of its own. Cailyn is usually pretty good, she doesnt freak out to much, however the minute we walk into a restaurant she turns into a crazy grumpy wild moody 2 year old. She screams and throws things. My poor niece had a fork thrown at her. i really try to work with her at home on the patience thing but its hard. She is getting better and i'm getting picky about the times i actually take her.

As most everyone knows we have two very big dogs. They are very sweet and love cailyn even though she likes to hit them with toys and pull there tails. Cailyn and the dogs have decided to team up at dinner time. Cailyn will sit and play with her food then out of nowhere her food will go flying right to the dogs. They are just tall enough that there head fit perfectly on the table this provides the perfect angle to sneak food off her plate.

Cailyn also is tall enough to reach the counter and likes to take food off the counter and share with the dogs. her favorite thing to eat is oreos, she takes the package off the counter and opens it then takes the cookie out pulls them apart eats the filling and leaves the cookie in random places in the house.

Cailyn has decided that anyone who pays attention to her and is near the same height is her best friend and must do everything she wants. She is always around older kids and has learned to be pushy and demanding which is fine for the older kids but she scares all the kids her age away.

On sunday we werent having a good night, well i gave kurt jarrod who refused to lay down and cailyn was playing. about 5 minutes of kurt holding jarrod cailyn started crying and walked me over to kurt and was trying to get me to take jarrod. We were thinkng she wanted him in his exersaucer or something (like usual) but the minute i took jarrod she climbed up on kurt and hugged him and wouldnt move. Every time it looked like kurt was going to take jarrod cailyn would get upset. Usually she doesnt care but apparently sunday kurt was her dad and she wasnt going to share.

There are so many more but its late so i'll just get back to the whole reason i started this. Today has been an interesting day for cailyn.

It started off with her climbing onto the table then onto the tray of her highchair to watch mickey mouse (apparently the couch wasnt good enough). the middle of the day wasnt to exciting but we met a friend at the mall and that where the fun really started...

We got to the mall and went into the first store where she managed to break a bracelet, luckily i didnt have to pay for it), then we went into another store where i decided to try on some clothes. I took the stroller into the dressing room and cailyn was talking and playing, well i opened the door to show my friend the shirt and cailyn took off into the store, as i ran after her the door shut behind me locking jarrod in the dressing room. Cailyn thought it was funny. After a few more stores we went into the last store, we were walking around and friends little girl says "did cailyns diaper fall off?" As i turned around bent down and grabbed the diaper she started peeing in the middle of the isle. I grabbed her got a new diaper on her and just put that one on the bottom of the stroller to throw away when we walked out of the store. As we walked out into the mall the dirty diaper fell out onto the floor. At that point we decided to call it a night and just go home.

Cailyn has such a wonderful personality and she makes us laugh on a daily basis. I'm really going to have to keep better records of the crazy things she does, i'm sure shell love to read them one day. I couldnt ask for a better daughter and she is truly amazing with her little brother.

We have had a few crazy months watching the kids grow and just enjoying spending time together. Here are a few pictures from the last couple months.

We decided that cailyn needed a slide. We went and found the perfect one. She plays on this thing every single day. she has learned that she can go down the slide backwards and on her belly, oh and i'm pretty sure almost every toy in the house has taken its turn going down the slide.

She got a tball for easter. She getting really good at hitting the ball. She is even starting to use the correct end of the bat.

Its amazing how fast they grow and change. Cailyn is getting so big and smart. She is such a wonderful help with jarrod. Every time he cries she goes over to him and makes sure hes okay. She also like to give him a bottle. Jarrod loves to watch her play and laughs at some of her funny things she does. He is trying to sit up by himself and he has been eating solid food. He loves bananas and i'm excited to start him on other foods. Its amazing to watch them grow and learn. Hopefully i'll post again sooner next time...

Well we have been very busy the last few weeks. Its different having kurt at work. I miss having him around to help out with the kids and its always nice to have someone to talk to. I am loving being off work and spending time with the kids.. i really wish i could stay at home but oh well it will be interesting to go back to work, at least i still have a month to enjoy the time off. (this is a lot longer than i expected.. but its been fun)

So kurt took cailyn for her first ride in the miata.. she only went to my moms and back but she loved it. She was pointing out the window at everything and asking "whats that?"

We were getting ready one day and cailyn walked into jarrods room and walked toward the living room with a couple diapers, she went back and forth a few times and i didnt think anything of it until i walked out into the living room and jarrod was covered she truly is a great helper.

Bree and i decided to take cailyn and jackson to the tree house museum one day last week. Neither of had ever been to the new one they built so it was a lot of fun to see everything they had. Cailyn loved it. She could run and scream and play without getting in trouble.

They had a music room which was perfect for her since she loves music, she had fun making noise but kept trying to push on the fake piano pieces on the outside of the room.

Jackson loved this. You push the button and it asks you a question and you have to find the picture on the map. Cailyn was so amused and confused that it would ask a question. Every time it said "stop" she would stop and look around trying to find who was talking.

She loved that she could walk up the stairs while holding onto the railing without any help.

She had fun drawing with the chalk. but apparently it didnt taste very good cuz when she put it in her mouth she took it out and threw it.

Her favorite thing was this firetruck she kept going back to it and was really good about being patient and waiting her turn to drive it.

Our other adventure this past weekend was dinner for Grandma Geigers birthday at ABC Mandarin. They have wonderful food and its always a lot of fun.

Weve had a lot of fun, and Jarrod does great on the outings with everyone. He is just so happy to be held. He is getting so big, he smiles at everyone and rolls over. but his favorite thing to do is watch his sister. He gets a huge smile on his face when she walks up to him and talks to him. The dogs are doing such a good job with both kids, they keep there distance and if marley gets to close ali puts him in his place. It been crazy but whats life without a little adventure.

Well so far its been a crazy month. Kurt went back to work and its been a challenge getting the kids used to him working. We've had fun though. Cailyn is getting much more comfortable with Jarrod. If he's crying she brings his bottle over to him and tries to feed him. She still doesn't like to hold him, as long as she knows he's ok she's happy. He is getting so big, rolling over and smiling.

So December has been crazy but fun. We started out the month welcoming home Jarrod then we started the Christmas fun. Here are some pictures from December. Cailyn had a great Christmas. She wasn't sure about the presents on Christmas eve, but started to understand in the morning. However by the time we got to my parents house she was completely done with Christmas and sat in the play room and watched toy story. She didn't even come into the living room with all the presents. But the next day she had fun playing with all her toys all day. Jarrod however slept pretty much all day but he still got a lot of cute things.

She got this garage but thinks its a slide. So instead of cars everything else gets pushed down it. She is actually trying to slide down it in this picture.

Well he's finally here... Jarrod Mathew Geiger was born on Sunday Dec 6th at 11:54 am. He weighed 6 lbs 15 oz and was 19 inches long. He has been such a good baby so far. Only cries when he is hungry or wants to be held. We cant wait to bring him home so everyone can finally meet him.

Today we decided to go down to Gardener villiage and take pictures of Cailyn in her halloween costume. Here are a few pictures taken over the last couple of weeks. She is getting so big and has so much energy. She loves to play with dogs and has even more fun feeding them. We went hiking with my parents which was fun then we went to the park and played. She had fun going down the big slide by herself. We went to our friend Tiffany's wedding and cailyn had fun playing in the rocks and eating chocolate covered strawberries.

We did get his crib a couple weeks ago but have yet to put it up. Mostly because its the dogs room right now and i dont want to move them.

We decided to tag along with kurts parents to oregon for his dads 50th high school reunion... really it was just an excuse to go. It was a lot of fun and to beautiful. We took Cailyn which was an adventure since we were in the truck 70 percent of the time. We went up to meet kurts uncles since i've only met a couple of them and they have never met cailyn. We also went to the beach which was interesting since it was cold and cloudy outside and the water was even colder. Cailyn loved the water though. She kept trying to run back out into the waves. On the way back we decided to stop and see a couple of the waterfalls along the columbia river.

I decided that she needed some toys for outside so i went and got her a car, which come to find out i had to put together.... THIS WAS INTERESTING

She wanted to help so bad everytime i had to hammer or screw something she would try to grab it and do it herself. We left it a convertable until kurt gets home since i couldnt get the top to go on it was much more difficult than it looked.

one of her new favorite games is to put on my shoes and walk around the house
as you can tell i only have a few months left until she and the dogs are in and out all day long....
So as most everyone is aware we are expecting a baby boy in decemeber. My due date is christmas, and we have no idea what we are going to name him, but cailyn is going to be a great big sister.

Kurt and i decided to go to denver to see the braves play the rockies. We left on thursday and came back yesterday. It was a fun but busy weekend, we decided to drive to that we could stop along the way. It was neat to see everything and colorado is gorgeous. When we got to denver we decided to go the friday night game as well as the saturday game it was so cool to see them play at the field. We went shopping and on a tour of a old historic gold mine which was really interesting. We also got to meet up with one of my oldest and best friends for dinner since she lives there. It was so nice to see her, and her family (i wish i would have taken some pictures). We had a wonderful time seeing everything. But as always it was nice to come home and see Cailyn and the dogs.

This was from the game on friday night. The batter hit a line drive and it hit the back of the pitchers leg. We found out the next day that it had actually broken it and he will have to have surgery and wont play for at least the rest of the season
We had a rain delay and it was the neatest thing to watch the ground crew roll out and roll back up this huge tarp.

For Cailyn's birthday she got this water play mat, its really cute so we decided to take cailyn out and play with it. She loved it, she would sit on it and splash and play with the water.

Well we made it, the first year is over. I cant believe how fast the time has gone. Her birthday was an adventure she has so fun, she loves to entertain and loves the attention. She had fun playing with the kids and ruining her cake. Thank you to everyone who came we are very lucky to have such good friends and family.

She loves the cake. She would pick off the frosting and when everyone would laugh she would laugh. she had so much fun and loves cake.

So cailyn had to get her first set of stitches last night. It was so sad. I had just put her pj's on and she was heading toward her bedroom while i made her a bottle. the next thing i know i hear a loud thud and she just started screaming. when i got to her i just figured she fell but then i picked her up and her left eye brow was bleeding pretty bad. I had my father and sister -inlaw come look at it because i was worried she would need stitches. They came over and told me it would be best to take her in. So i took her up and made kurt meet me there. Well they said it was too big to just glue so she ended up getting three stitches. It was so sad but she did really well. Here are a couple pictures of her. she moves so much its hard to get a good one.

So to start things off since its been awhile. We have been pretty busy lately we have swimming a couple nights a week and kurt and i are playing softball one night. We are having fun enjoying the time we get to spend together watching cailyn grow.

A few weeks ago Cailyn, my cousin Jackie and i went to St george for the weekend. We had fun but the drive was interesting. Cailyn cried a good majority of the way down there so it made the drive even longer but once we got there she passed out for the night. We went down to visit our grandma phillips and our aunt susan's family. We visited and swam we had lots of fun in the sun.

Since we've been home we have been able to watch our friends little girl Vienna and my niece Bentley. Cailyn has so much fun with them, she loves to play with other kids. She'll be such a good big sister.

she was trying to feed vienna So i think the only left is that Cailyn starting swimming lessons. She loves the water and has so much fun. She can't sit still for the 3 seconds to wait until she can jump into the pool. She doesn't like to be on her back but i'm sure she'll get the hang of it soon.

This past weekend we went to Jackson Hole for the hill climbs. It was a lot of fun except that Cailyn doesnt like to be bundled up or sit still. We mostly hung out did a little shopping and of course ate. she has been working on her walking and getting pretty good at it. I cant believe how big she is getting.

I was really worried about the drive since Cailyn can barely make it to the grocery store and back in her carseat without flipping out. But we did plan it really well so she slept a good portion of the drive. The drive back however the roads were bad and it seemed like it took forever to get home. I had to keep my mind off the roads so i decided to take a few pictures.

Introducing Roman Deegan Iverson. He was born 03/02/2009 at 10 pm weighed 7 lbs 12 oz 20 inches long. He is such a cutie. Congratulations to ryan and jen you'll be great parents.

We got cailyn blessed last saturday. It was beautiful, my dad was the on who performed the blessing, and we were lucky enough to have quite a few friends and family come over. We didnt get the greatest pictures but a couple good ones. She looked beautiful, like an angel.

This picture was almost black and this was the best i could get it. But its of courtney and i with our daughters avery and cailyn. I've always looked up to courtney i was so glad she was there.

Here are just a few pictures that i took from my phone and just moved to my computer. I cant believe how big she is getting. she is starting to stand on her own and stand up without holding on to anything. Which i love except that she is in to everything. Between her and the dogs i can't take me eyes off them for one second or something is being eaten or chewed on. Apparently cailyn has learned from the dogs when it comes to chewing and eating and walking around with socks.

Cailyn unfortunately got the chicken pox last week. She has done really well with them but when they start to inch she cries. She cant figure out how to itch them but she loves it when i rub her back. She got them from me... a few weeks ago i had an allergic reaction to a medication and the stress on my body from the reaction gave me shingles. Shingles are very contagious to anyone who hasn't had the chicken pox. So even though i was really careful to keep them covered she still ended up getting them.

so i walked away from the room for a minute to do the dishes and this is what i came back to. She had managed to pull out all of the wipes from the container.

This was cute, she was having a bad day and after dinner i gave her some stars(her absolute favorite) and i walked away and she was talking. about 2 minutes later she was really quiet so i got up to check on her and she was sleeping in her high chair.

This was so cute. now that kurt is only working weekends he gets to spend a lot more time at home with cailyn. Cailyn has always loved music she attemps to sing a long and laughs. Everytime she goes downstairs she goes up to his guitars and hits the strings and then looks at kurt like why arent they making noise. He decided to bring one upstairs and play it with her, she had so much fun. I cant believe how fast she is growing up.

Well chrstmas was very very interesting. Cailyn did good on christmas eve when we opened our pajamas (who doesnt). but then we went to our uncles house and she didnt get to sleep until about 9. Then of course we had to wake her up at 11 when we went back to kurts parents house to open presents. She was still pretty happy and got a ton of things from there (cabbage patch doll, clothes and a shopping cart that makes noise).

Well we got her to bed at about 1 and we had to be at my grandma's house at 10 in the morning. so we decided in the interest of rushing and overwhelming cailyn that we wouldnt open our presents until christmas night. Which was a good idea except that she still wasnt in a good mood. We got to my grandma's house, then to my dads, then to my moms. At this point cailyn hadnt slept hardley ate and been surrounded by about 15 people see never sees. She was competely done with christmas and everything to do with it. We let her relax and sleep and she still wasnt in the mood, so we just opened her presents. She is still teething and it took until today for her to be ready to be happy. She is having fun with all of her presents. She also is starting to get into this phase where if we leave the room she screams at the top of her lungs until we come in and pick her up.

We went down to Salt lake to see the lights at temple square. We decided to take Cailyn with us. Luckily we choose a day that is snowed all day so it didnt get to cold at night. We took at stoller but for some reason cailyn was throwing a fit so we ended up carrying her. She loved the lights and all of the people. It was a lot of fun.

For thanksgiving we had a few of our family come over, it was nice and relaxing. Cailyn had fun because she could play with her toys and not have to deal with a billion strangers passing her around. So Kurts parents decided to give her a turkey leg which she thoroughly enjoyed. She held on to that thing or a good hour and when i finally took it away she was not happy with me.

Lynn and i decided to go shopping on friday because homedepot had a great deal on a tree (7.5 ft led prelit tree) for 50 dollars. it was worth the crowds. Luckily the dogs just ignore it but Cailyn loves it. She loves the lights she'll scoot all the way across the living room floor just to lay under it and grab the tree. She also discovered that there are presents under it and the paper makes noise. so she spent about a half hour this morning trying to crinkle the paper on the presents that were in her reach.

So last week my mom took me lynn and cailyn shopping in salt lake. We had a ton of fun and Cailyn did so good. She is learning young to love to shop. We went to lunch at applebees and she was sitting really well in the high chair she kept grabbing the menu and toys and throwing them on the ground. I love her so much. It always makes me laugh when i see these moms with babies who are asleep in the car seat or just sitting there and they are bigger than cailyn because she would much rather sit in the cart of high chair. She is so stubborn but so cute. here are a couple pictures of us shopping and eating.

I know its been a long time sine i've posted anything. Not much has been going on, Cailyn is getting so big. She is so much fun and loves to grab at everything and wants to walk so bad. She wont crawl but has learned how to scoot on her back. For halloween she was a cookie, well for a picture she was, she didnt like the costume so that only lasted for a minute.

Snow

It was Cailyn and Ali's first time in the snow on Sunday. When i let the dogs out in morning ali wouldnt go outside, she just sat there and looked at the snow then looked up at me and ran back to her kennel. Finally after some persuasion and Marley running around in it she walked outside. Once she started to play she loved it.

We were so excited to take cailyn out in the snow for the first time even though she wont remember it. We put her in her bear snow suit which she didnt really enjoy, then we went outside to play. We got outside and she just started crying so we let her grab some and she didnt like that either so we just took a couple pictures and went back in.

On Saturday we went to pick out pumkins and brett decided to attempt to weigh cailyn in the hanging weighers for fruit. It didnt quite get it right, she actually weighs 12.6. We went to the doctor today for her 4 month shots.
We also got this awesome blow up bath tub, and it actually quacks. She loved it, cuz she could splash around and hold herself up.

So we decided since the mountains are so beautiful we decided to take a drive through them. It was a lot of fun and nice little getaway from our hectic lives. So by the time we finally got up to where we were going it was too dark to see any leaves and there were no leaves to see, but we did get a great view of the amazing sunset.

So this last sunday I decided to leave work early so Kurt and i could spend a little time together since we haven't had a day off together in a couple weeks. We played with the puppies and cailyn, then we went mini golfing with Mat and Tasha. Mini golfing was a ton of fun (i lost of course) but it was nice to get out of the house.

So monday i went a bought cailyn a walker. I know she is to young for it but she loves to stand up and every time i would lay or sit her down she would scream. Needless to say it was a great idea becuase she loves it. she still has about a foot to grow before she can reach the ground but she loves to be able to see everything.

Ryan and Jen got married this weekend at the sherwood hills resort. They are such a cute couple and have been great friends. Not only did they just get married but they are going to be having a baby in the spring (a new friend for cailyn). The wedding tunred out wonderful, everything was perfect. So I went back to work on tuesday. Kurts parents are watching cailyn most of the week and my parents the other part. I was really surprised but it wasnt to hard to leave her the first day, but I think it was because i had let so many people babysit while i was off. Although now that i've been back a couple days i'm starting to miss her. She is getting so big and fun and it breaks my heart that i dont get to spend as much time with her. I am glad that she is with family though because it would be a whole lot harder to leave her with a stranger.

Thank you to our family and friends for always being there for us. We are truly blessed to have so many wonderful people in our lives.

Thank you mom! She is amazing i don't know what i would do without her. She has always been there for me when i needed anything. Even when she was going through a hard time she always put everyone else first. She loves her family so much and would do anything for us. She has helped me and so much the past few months with the house and cailyn. I love you so much mom you mean the world to me. thank you for all you do, i really do appreciate it.

Thank you Lynn! although we haven't always gotten along, now that we live to together she has been an amazing help. She is always so willing to take cailyn and give me a little break. She has been such a life saver with Kurt working so much its really hard to be alone all the time with cailyn and the dogs. She has been such a great support and help.

Thank you Kurt! I know i don't say it enough but thank you so much for everything you do for us. You work so hard to provide a comfortable life for our family and i really appreciate it. You are a great husband, father and friend, i love you with all of my heart.

So we decided that Ali needed a friend, we found a male husky who is about 7 months old so he's only a couple months older than ali. He is so friendly and such a sweetheart. He was raised around kids so i dont have to worry about him with cailyn. Him and ali get along really well except that they are used to playing with people and not each other. it will take some adjusting but we are loving having him as part of our family.

We decided that we needed to get away for the weekend before i go back to work and because kurt has been working so much. We decided to go to Bear Lake with our families. We had a ton of fun playing in the water and wathcing ali dig holes on the beach. We put Cailyn's feet in the water but she wasnt having that, she hates cold water. So we put a town in a float tube for babies and she loved floating around in that. We took Cristian up with us and he had fun trying to waterski and playing on the beach. It was nice to get away for a little bit.

Cailyn and I just got back from louisiana. We went down to see my best friend Bree and her son Jackson. Cailyn did really well on the plane, she loved the turbulance and was only a little fussy when she got bored. We did however have a layover both ways and all she did while we were in the airport was scream. While in louisiana we did a ton of shopping and spent way to much money at the boardwalk they have down there. Cailyn also went swiming with Jackson which she actually enjoyed. Then we drove to dallas to go to the grapevine mall (it has about 200 stores), where we did even more shopping. We also ate at this amazing place called steak and shake. They have the best food, its secretly one of the reason i love to go visit her....

The last couple days we have been busy with family. Cailyn loves playing with her cousins. Cayden was over and he kept dancing around in front of her to get her to smile it was cute. Cristian is a little more distant but he is great with her and loves to hold her. Bentley is so funny i was watching her on Friday and she was copying what i did with cailyn with her doll. She loves to hold her and play with her, she is so good with Cailyn.

Since Kurt finally got a Saturday off we decided to get some things done around the house. We washed cars, mowed the lawn, cleaned house and he attempted to wash Ali. She was not having it, she was so mad at him for a while afterward.

Our baby Cailyn. She was born on June 3, 2008 @ 14:11 and weighed 5 lbs 5 oz. she has gotten so big in the last two months and has been so much fun. she is getting big so fast, at her last Dr apt she weighed just under 8lbs. She can roll over and is trying hard to sit up and crawl.

Our puppy Ali. She is an Alaskan malamute/husky mix. She is 4 months old and such a sweet heart. She is so friendly and couldn't hurt a fly even though she enjoys trying to catch them. she is great with cailyn and loves to lick her. Her other favorite game is to go into our room and grab our socks then to take off down the hall into the living room and pretend she doesn't have anything.

Well i'm new to this so bare with me. Lets start with the basics, I'm married to the love of my life Kurt and we have a 7 week old daughter Cailyn and a 4 month old puppy Ali.

We live and clinton and have very hecktic work schedules but we make the best of it and enjoy every minute of watching our two girls grow up.
